When I started checking into gastric bypass I weighed 312 pounds and was very lethargic and sedentary. Since the decision to have surgery I started walking 1.5 to 3 miles a day. Now, with help from the surgeons and staff at Minimally Invasive Surgical Associates I have lost 94 pounds. I am well on my way to my goal weight and I’ve been taken off most of my medications. In addition to walking and watching what I eat, I have started bike riding — something that I haven’t done in years. I haven’t felt this good in years. |
